Scholarships

The St. Croix Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. offers scholarships annually to college bound seniors.  

 

Since 1976, St. Croix Alumnae Chapter has awarded the Rita Weber Scholarship to graduating female high school students.   In 2018, the chapter awarded its first Thelma Moorhead EMBODI Scholarship to a male high school student.  The support of the scholarship funds comes from chapter members, friends, businesses, the community and local fundraising activities.  Rita Weber and Thelma Moorhead are two of the chapter’s 16 charter members. 

 

Scholarships are awarded based on academic performance and financial need. Applications are available with the guidance counselor to graduating seniors at all public, private and parochial high schools in St. Croix.  Scholarships are non-renewable.
